Terms & Conditions

  • Bruntsfield parent council clubs are only open to children attending classes P1 to P7 at Bruntsfield Primary School. Children from other schools and other age groups can unfortunately not register for these clubs unless otherwise specified!
  • Parents/carers must declare all medical conditions and additional support needs during registration and keep us up to date should this change by emailing us at bruntsfieldclubs@gmail.com and alerting the respective club organiser.
  • Whilst we endeavour to source First Aid qualified tutors, this is not the case in all clubs. If an emergency situation occurred in a club lacking First Aid resources, the tutor will be instructed to call the emergency services and follow their guidance.
  • Bruntsfield parent council clubs reserve the right to remove children from our programme, without refund, who are found to be bullying, misbehaving, or displaying disruptive behaviour.
  • Bruntsfield parent council clubs and associated tutors and doorkeepers are not responsible for any loss or injury during classes.
  • Verbal abuse of our tutors and the club team will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to exclude children from clubs where parents do not respect this.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.
  • Once payment is made, the Parent Council is unable to offer refunds or issue credits to parents who subsequently decline or cancel a club place.
  • We don't issue refunds for missed club sessions due to your own circumstances.
  • If a session needs to be cancelled due to tutor or venue availability (including exceptional weather conditions), we will endeavour to organise a replacement session. If this is not possible, we will credit your clubs account or reimburse the price of the cancelled session.
  • Our minimum club size is three children. Payments will be returned if a class has to be cancelled due to minimum numbers not being achieved.
  • You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use and keep us up-to-date should this change through ClassForKids.

Financial Support

Please be aware that we offer free places and reduced pricing for Bruntsfield primary parents who receive universal credit or other types of income support. If this applies to you, please email Family@bruntsfield.edin.sch.uk.
